well first off, happy halloween!
as defined by the almighty wikipedia for us swakoos,
Halloween, or Hallowe’en, is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 30th. Traditional activities include trick-or-treating, Halloween festivals, bonfires, costume parties, visiting “haunted houses” and viewing horror films. Halloween originated from the Pagan festival Samhain, celebrated among the Celts of Ireland and Great Britain.
i was talking to ernest the other day about halloween, thinking how it would be nice if halloween would be celebrated in singapore. imagine the immense crazy gargantuan TRUCKLOADS of candy and chocolates from trick-or-treating just one HDB block. let alone your whole neighbourhood. haha.
and that would actually give me something to do for the holidays, since i’ve been on my butt ever since band camp.
