acs-ploration

well if you haven’t guessed, thats the theme of this year’s year 5 orientation.
i must say,
it’s been a real good 3 days of acs-ploration for me.
self discovery.

DAY 1
honestly, stepping into school on the first day, was not exactly very appealing to me.
knowing i’m gonna get split up with my friends from 4.16,
i wasn’t exactly taking it very well.
moreover, i discovered BANG was in my OG.
of all people,
really,
why bang?

okay maybe i was too judgmental already,
but OG 14 straight ahead!

and as the day went on,
we stuck together
warmed up to the group
attentend briefings

and MASS DANCE loomed okay i can’t dance,
so i won’t elaborate (:

but the really dumb part,
I MISSED ICEBREAKERS CAUSE OF BAND
omg.
i went back having to figure everyone’s name
and no thanks to the two lookalikes ruth and charlotte,
my crash course in name acrobatics would have been just SLIGHTLY easier.
but nonetheless! i managed to do it!
and so i thought until day 2.

as i stepped out of school, i kinda realised that firstly,
i cant remember the dreaded dance steps, secondly,
i haven’t talked to any new people seriously, and lastly,
this situation of mine is all band’s fault.

agitation and mental rants set in.

-wow its 12am, SATURDAY!

after missing 3 buses waiting to go home.
i told myself.
treasure this orientation.
once in a lifetime experience.
