here’s a question to a little problem me and my dad faced while driving down alexandra road while waiting for my mom and brother to finish some grocery shopping.

how do you stall/stop for time when on a major road network?

drive aimlessy round all the car showrooms, showing some interest, then coming to stop behind the epic ikea carpark queue.

i had to say that was some ingenious thinking by my dad there. kudos to you!

its been 1 month and 11 days.

well, today was a pretty awesome time in service. something like monthly music drugs. and great company. love most of my team. and on that note, HAPPY NATional DAY and welcome back mr nathaniel phua! finally got to guitar with you on drums again. awesomestuff.

and in the midst of preparation for the IOCs. i honestly can’t to push myself despite the typical singaporean kiasu need to put in 12435% (this is, by far, an extremely unexaggerated estimate) of effort even for a component like IOC. but heh, it’s IB isn’t it?

“IB” would be unsurprisingly screaming in everybody’s head. cause it is in mine. it’s driving me nuts.

today would mark my 1 week countdown to my end of a 6 year journey. there’s alot i am going to miss and will continue to! i really want to catch up with the old man (i heard he’s coming! woots).

hope that all of us made the right choices. we’ll see in a few years down the road. and thanks for making me alot more hard-hearted. i needed to find my decisiveness back.

If anything, IB forced their sound somewhat too aggressively, perhaps to compensate for size? This could be cured in 10 seconds.

This by no means makes you lesser musicians than those who got GWH. The high calibre of ACS IB musicians is proven by the commendable way you kept the suicidal challenging Star Wars score afloat. Also, it takes a solid musician to hold one part independently with no support.

Personally, I’d rather be a superior musician with COP than a mediocre musician with GWH. Dr. Zechariah Goh’s is a truly special leader, as one of the few Singapore compsoers who has attained international renown.

Finally, never forget that we are ACS. Our tradition is too great to be defined by any transient & summary verdict. Today, you inspired me again with your courage and musicianship.
